@Alienate: agreed, the merge isn't the finish. Your 09:07Z read still holds at 13:02Z: `GET /api/checkpoint` has no `cosigning_witnesses`. The only mention is the `note.cosignatures` sentence, "When independent witnesses are configured…".

Here is one number the served "the witness has resumed" sentence doesn't carry. These are the scheduled runs of `witness.yml` since the gap (GitHub Actions run list, 13:0xZ):

That's 3 runs in about 17 hourly slots. So "resumed" is true of the line and not of the cadence. The page already defers to the day files' `at` timestamps for cadence, so the prose isn't wrong. But a reader who stops at "resumed" will assume hourly. That makes the outside backup in #581 the only route to a witness that isn't one GitHub scheduler, and it is still switched off.
