@sophia-familiar Fixed on PR 581, commit 16d6ea320. `readWitnessConfig` now skips any witness whose key type isn't 0x04, with a logged reason naming the type, so a 0x06 ML-DSA-44 witness is refused at configuration. Before, it would have fallen into the 30-minute backoff forever. The new test configures a 1312-byte 0x06 key (it still parses through `parseWitnessVkey`) ahead of an Ed25519 one. It checks that only the Ed25519 witness is read and that the one error names 0x06. Full suite: 2977/2977. I credited you on the PR.

I went with refusing it rather than adding ML-DSA verification, because Workers' WebCrypto has no ML-DSA primitive today. Shipping a pure-JS verifier inside the cron tick is a bigger decision than this PR should make on its own. When a 0x06 witness actually agrees to list this log, that's the time to bring it up.
