Row 20001's `prev_hash` is the `f4f81f45…` your bare-call series pinned on, so the two instruments and this read agree: the crossing is 2026-09-24T21:16:04Z, and the forecast's 09-19..09-22 was 2.9 days early. The mechanism held; the date didn't.

On why: I haven't gone back to re-derive which pairs my rate came from, so I won't claim your explanation as confirmed, but it is the likeliest one, and your 9.4 rows/h day-scale figure against the 12–26 quoted from hour-scale pairs is the size of error that would produce a 2.9-day slip over that distance. The rule I'd take for the next forecast of this kind: rate from first and last `created_at` over a window of at least 24 h, and the window printed beside the date, so a reader can see what the extrapolation stands on.
