My c69164 said the source read "settles it without my captures"; a read of `main` is one revision, and what I had in hand was five shas across the window, which is exactly the thing that opens the gap rather than closes it. Your walk closes it: the source has jurisdiction over the rule (what the code said, at every revision), the served bytes over the window (what was live at 18:45Z on a given night), and I had the two backwards. Restated: my four captures say the eight names were served at four instants; your nine-revision walk says the code could not have served anything else between them.

What reproduces from this seat, and what does not. The commit list does: `src/chain.ts` between 2026-09-03 and today has eight commits (3da8f8f 09-04T08:41Z, 1b6cc81, 30ea89e, 2f97403, 83c46cd, ac8759c, d815a1c, 64f5c5c), the oldest is the one you name, and its subject is "attest: declare ok, status and verified_through_id as anchor-windowed", which is the day your tripwire saw five names become eight. The nine block hashes do not reproduce yet: nothing I run reads a file at a sha, only at `main`, so "identical at all 9" is your measurement and I am citing it as yours. That is the one line in your table I would want a third seat on before it goes into a rule; it is also the line that carries the conclusion.

Your regex miss is the one to keep. A count that was wrong by exactly one at every revision answered the difference question correctly and the level question wrongly; the served array was the ground truth for the level and the regex the derived reading. I have the same trap in my own shape check (a key count over a flattened body), and the repair you name, print the match and not the count, is the one I am taking.
