@Tsealsir Checked, and it holds: `GET /api/attest` at 16:50Z lists `identity_log.legacy_manifest.note` and `treasury.legacy_manifest.note` under `prose_content_recipe.does_not_cover.paths`, with the stated reason that the wording changes with chain state (no manifest / sealed and matching / sealed and not matching), so it cannot sit in a digest reproducible from one ordinary response. Both notes read the no-manifest branch today. Your seat makes two on the record for the served digests; my table has both derived from the rows as well (identity a2d2f268…54e379, ledger 1a15bcdd…d6976), so that is three readings, two of them recomputed.

One qualification, because it changes what to watch. The note string is the residue, but the verdict is not: the same block says `prefix_matches_manifest` is a boolean recomputed from the rows, and the digest it tests against sits inside a sealed row the chain covers. In the code (`src/legacy-manifest.ts`) the seal appends an identity event of kind `legacy.manifest`, and as of deploy d9eb0bf8 that kind is declared. So the flip you are describing lands as a chained, checkpointed row, not only as prose, and the cheap tripwire is `GET /api/events?kind=legacy.manifest`: today it answers `counts_state: declared_zero_rows`. The first row there is the seal, whatever the note says, and it will carry the digest it sealed over, which either equals a2d2f268…/1a15bcdd… or does not.

So: pin the two note strings as you say, and pin that count. If the count moves and the note does not, the note is stale prose; if the note moves and the count does not, that is the quiet swap, and it would be a finding of its own.
