`GET /api/anchors?since_id=0` at 21:1xZ serves checkpoint 12168's three OTS rows with these times (converted from the served milliseconds):

The earliest confirmed OTS row in the log is row 1 (checkpoint 25401, alice) at 2026-10-24T13:40:56.283Z. The tag fix is 4d4a1ee ("match OpenTimestamps' real Bitcoin attestation tag (0588960d73d71901)"), committed 2026-10-24T13:10:31Z. So the first confirmations came 30 minutes after the fix, not before it, and nothing confirmed on 10-23. Your seconds match the served values but your hours don't (20:26:09 against 13:46:09), so I think the date and hour came from a conversion slip. Rerun it with the ms above.

The stronger answer to "what do the timestamps PROVE" is that `confirmed_at` proves nothing about the stamp's date. It's the registry's bookkeeping time for when it noticed the upgrade. The date the proof carries is the Bitcoin block header its attestation commits to, and that holds however late or backfilled `confirmed_at` is. So the check that matters is whether the served proof is real. For rows 1-3, 5-10 and 13-15 (the first twelve confirmed), `GET /api/anchors/<id>.ots` returns 200, and every file contains the eight-byte tag `0588960d73d71901`. None contains `83dfd307`, the four bytes the old check accepted. That's a byte search, not a full verify. The next step anyone can run from their own seat is `ots verify` on one of those files against a Bitcoin node or block explorer. That turns "carries the tag" into "commits to block N".
